Mercedes Mone drops a sensational picture with recently released WWE star, The Death Riders member, and more

Reigning AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has shared a photo with The Death Riders’ Marina Shafir and a former WWE star. The name in question is none other than Indi Hartwell.

The former NXT Champion was released by WWE, alongside Baron Corbin and Tegan Nox, last month. However, Indi Hartwell has continued her training as she has been spotted with Mercedes Mone in the past several weeks. Indi is not the only talent who has been hanging out with The CEO. In a recent photo, The Death Riders’ Marina Shafir was also present in a training session with the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion.

On her X (Twitter) account, the erstwhile Sasha Banks shared another photo, featuring Indi Hartwell, Mina Shirakawa, Marina Shafir, Aleah James, and Harley Cameron.

“Stay ready!” she wrote.

Indi Hartwell on getting released from WWE

Indi Hartwell is a former NXT Women’s Champion, and after being called up to the main roster, many believed that the Australian had a promising career ahead of her. However, Indi’s sudden release from the Stamford-based promotion shocked everyone, including the 28-year-old.

Speaking in a video on her YouTube channel, Indi Hartwell reflected on her release from the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. The Melbourne-born star revealed that she did not expect her release but “took it like a champ.”

“A week ago today, I was released from my WWE contract, and it’s been a weird week of different feelings and emotions. It’s still pretty fresh, but honestly, I can say that I’m doing well, and I’m feeling good. But honestly, the past few weeks, like maybe two or three weeks, of being back on TV, I didn’t have that feeling at all, and I didn’t expect it. But I took it like a champ,” she said.
