During his speech, iconic heartbeat sounds could be heard in the background, which quickly sparked major speculation about the return of his legendary Demon gimmick for WrestleMania 42.
As previously reported here on Wrestling Noticias, the plan to use this iconic Bálor gimmick against Mysterio has been under discussion backstage in WWE since last year.
It is worth noting that Bálor’s last appearance as the Demon took place at WrestleMania 39 in April 2023. On that occasion, Bálor was defeated by Edge in a brutal Hell in a Cell Match.
