He goes through a medical procedure that cures his condition. He changes his identity to Guy Moratz and starts a new life as a real estate agent. But when his friend Ingrid Vold produces a Broadway play on Edward, who now everyone thinks has k*lled himself, his acting dreams resurface.

Edward, who is now Guy, gets the part of Edward in the play and soon starts a relationship with Ingrid.
