Cody Rhodes Makes Bold Statement About WrestleMania 41 Main Event

Cody Rhodes commented on rumors of a Triple Threat Match with The Rock and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. In an interview with Vegas Revealed, Rhodes addressed the speculation about his next match at the show.

“There are many rumors circulating. The hardest thing in WWE, in pro wrestling in general, is not winning the WWE Title, the hardest thing is to main event WrestleMania. I don’t care what the rumor is, as long as the rumor is that I’m in the main event of WrestleMania,” said Rhodes.

“What I can say for those who keep an eye on the rumor, I bet you what they get at WrestleMania 41 is unexpected even to them. Even the people who follow this, the diehards who feel like they have their finger on the pulse, this one is going to be tough. This one is going to be unexpected, is the best way to put it, but in the best of ways.”

The Rock and Rhodes had direct confrontations on the road to WrestleMania 40, where Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns. On the April 8 Monday Night RAW, The Rock promised to return for Rhodes, making his return at Bad Blood.
