Samantha Irvin shocked the entire wrestling world when she announced her departure from WWE hours before the October 21 edition of Monday Night RAW. Irvin recently made a surprising revelation regarding her exit from the Stamford-based company.
The 35-year-old had reportedly been considering parting ways with the wrestling promotion for a year to focus on her music career. The report from Wrestling Observer Radio also suggested that she could not come to terms with projects outside WWE while working with the global juggernaut as an announcer.
Since her sudden announcement, Samantha Irvin has been very active on social media, responding to fans commenting about her departure from WWE. The former RAW announcer replied to an X (FKA Twitter) user earlier today to claim she had already given the company her notice in August.

Wrestling veteran believes Samantha Irvin might have left WWE due to pregnancy
Wrestling veteran Jonathan Coachman recently speculated on the reason behind Samantha Irvin’s abrupt announcement.
During his appearance on the Behind the Turnbuckle: The Last Word podcast, The Coach predicted that Irvin might have parted ways with WWE due to pregnancy. The 51-year-old speculated that Samantha wanted to take time off before welcoming her newborn:
“So, I did a little bit of digging. I thought about the history of certain women walking away shockingly without any notice. And most of the time, they are pregnant. So, my prediction is that Samantha Irvin, and I also couple this with the fact that Ricochet, who’s her fiance, she’s getting married in Vegas in a very short period of time, and he came out a couple [of] hours ago, Tommy, and he said that she is not coming to AEW to let that go to rest. Because that was the easy, lazy narrative. So, I believe that—I do not know this to be true, but this is my gut—she is pregnant. She wanted to take time off before she has the baby. Samantha Irvin’s husband, Ricochet, left WWE earlier this year after his contract expired in June. The former Intercontinental Champion inked a multi-year deal with AEW after parting ways with the Stamford-based company.
