WWE roster is currently at one of the best-ever points in history, with some major stars active. In addition, a formerly injured star may join the action again if certain conditions are met, according to Teddy Long.
The 11-time WWE champion being talked about is none other than Big E, who has held a long list of belts in his career. However, a neck injury back in 2022 forced him to retire from in-ring action, with it being unclear whether he will ever be back. However, he has recently started getting involved in Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods’s storyline on RAW, which has opened up speculation about his return.
When asked about his thoughts on Sportskeeda’s The Wrestling Time Machine hosted by Mac Davis, Hall of Famer Teddy Long stated:
“If he gets cleared, he may be back. But we just got to wait and see.” [6:35 onwards]
Veteran journalist Bill Apter also heaped praise on Big E, saying:
“In the premium live events in the pre-shows, that when he is on that panel he is the best on that panel.” [6:58 onwards]

The WWE Hall of Famer doesn’t think Big E wants to wrestle full time
While Teddy Long is hopeful that Big E will return to the ring, he believes that the WWE star would want to wrestle only occasionally.
On another episode of The Wrestling Time Machine, Teddy explained his thoughts and stated:
“I wouldn’t doubt it – there’s a good little story there with Kofi & Xavier. He could start with Xavier and get that win over him. Then comes Kofi right there, and drops him. Now, Xavier comes up and they both beat him to death, man. I don’t think he wants to do full-time anymore but then you could take Big E and get him a mystery partner and have a tag team. Now you have Big E going up against his old team.” (7:50-8:25)
As of now, it remains to be seen what WWE plans to do with Big E down the line.
