Tiffany Stratton will be on the first SmackDown of 2025 this Friday as WWE enters a new era with the move of Monday Night RAW to Netflix. The show will be extended to three hours going forward, and the expectation is that WWE Creative has big plans for the blue brand.
One of them could see Tiffany Stratton eventually cash in her Money in the Bank contract and become the new Women’s Champion. Tiffany shared her desire to claim a major title for the first time in her WWE career, and the first episode of 2025 could see her fulfill her dream. Nia Jax will put her title on the line against Naomi, so this will be the perfect opportunity for Tiffany to cash in her briefcase on the winner, who will be exhausted after the match.
Should this happen, Stratton could become champion and have a face turn. At the same time, a 12-year veteran, Charlotte Flair, could return to confront her. The Queen is preparing for her comeback after 13 months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
Flair could return as a heel, go after the 25-year-old, and immediately enter the title picture, setting the stage for a championship match at the Royal Rumble on February 1.
Former WWE star praises Tiffany Stratton; calls her a ‘natural athlete’
Tiffany Stratton has emerged as a megastar in her first year on the main roster. She is now ready to become the Women’s Champion after a successful stint on NXT.
Recently, she got high praise from her former trainer and former WWE star, Mr. Kennedy, who called her a ‘natural athlete’ during an interview with Rewind Recap Relive.
“Tiffany Stratton is just a natural athlete. She’s one of those people where you show her something one time, and even if you have to offer a couple of corrections, she quickly figures it out and can replicate it over and over again. The one thing I will say is that she didn’t have the charisma she has now,” Mr. Kennedy said.
Heading into a new era, fans have to wait to see what plans WWE Creative has for Tiffany. But, if she is to cash in her MITB briefcase, the first SmackDown of 2025 would be ideal.
