Triple H congratulates new WWE champion – “He’s your NEW champion”
Dragon Lee wins WWE Speed Title from Andrade, earning praise from Triple H. Victory follows tournament success and marks first main roster championship.
Dragon Lee achieved a milestone in his WWE career by defeating Andrade for the WWE Speed Title during the November 20 broadcast. The victory marks Lee’s first title on WWE’s main roster.
Lee earned his opportunity after victories over Tavion Heights and Akira Tozawa in a number one contender’s tournament. The new champion secured the win within the five-minute time limit of the bout.
Following the victory, Chief Content Officer Triple H praised Lee’s performances on social media.
“He’s delivered incredible performances throughout this entire No. 1 Contender’s Tournament… and now, he’s your NEW #WWESpeed Champion. Huge congrats to @dragonlee95 on this well-deserved victory,” Triple H wrote.

The WWE Speed Title, which features bouts exclusively on social media, was first introduced with Ricochet as its inaugural champion following a tournament victory in May. Andrade later captured the title from Ricochet before his departure to AEW.
