3 things Logan Paul can do on the RAW premiere on Netflix

Logan Paul will make his WWE return after five months. He has not been seen on programming after losing the United States Championship to LA Knight at SummerSlam on August 3. Fast forward to today, the YouTube star has been drafted to RAW and will show up on the red brand’s premiere on Netflix – Monday, January 6.

The former United States Champion made it clear during the RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event a couple of weeks ago that he wanted to be champion again. However, there is no hint on what plans WWE Creative has for him.

With that in mind, we take a look at three things Logan Paul can do on the RAW premiere on Netflix.

#3. He could challenge Bron Breakker for the Intercontinental Championship at the Royal Rumble

Bron Breakker has done a great job as a heel ever since he moved to the main roster in late April. He has become a two-time Intercontinental Champion during that time and is now preparing for his next opponent.

His next challenger could be Logan Paul. As Paul wants to reclaim gold in WWE, he could kick off his stint on Monday Night RAW with a challenge to Bron Beakker for a title match at the Royal Rumble.

If RAW General Manager Adam Pearce makes this match official for the first Premium Live Event of 2025, it could be a great opportunity for Breakker to have a face turn, with Paul set to remain a heel upon RAW’s move to Netflix.

#2. Logan Paul could go after Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship

Logan Paul wants to become a World Champion in 2025 and made it clear during the RAW on Netflix Kickoff Event that he is coming after the top stars on the RAW roster.

One of them is reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, who expects to find out who his next opponent will be. The Ring General took a shot at Logan Paul during the Kickoff Event, saying that he would dominate him if he was coming after the title.

Monday on the RAW premiere on Netflix, Paul could show up and confront Gunther, challenging him to a match either on Saturday Night’s Main Event (January 25) or the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event (February 1).

#1. He could become John Cena’s first opponent in his farewell tour

John Cena will kick off his farewell tour Monday on the RAW premiere on Netflix, but WWE creative hasn’t hinted at what the Cenation Leader will do in the first stop of his retirement tour.

What fans could see, though, is Logan Paul stepping up and confronting John Cena, eventually becoming Cena’s first opponent in his farewell tour. Paul has expressed the desire to fight Cena before the latter’s retirement, and even though this is not likely to happen at WrestleMania 41, it could take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in late January or the Royal Rumble on February 1.

It would make sense for WWE to go that way, since Paul and Cena have done a great job as heel and babyface, respectively.
