The now-friendless former WWE Superstar has a major target on her back, given that she holds both the AEW TBS Title and the NJPW Strong Women’s Title. However, there are a number of individuals in the Tony Khan-led company, who formerly worked in the sports entertainment juggernaut as well, whom Moné could reach out to forge new alliances and safeguard her interests.

This could allow AEW to book an angle where Mercedes Moné allies herself with The Illustrious One to encourage her and build her back up.

The storyline could tie Storm’s wrestling character to Moné, who has been open about her own interest in working in film and television further. Storm and Moné also teamed with each other in WWE, which could inform their collaboration in All Elite Wrestling. Furthermore, once their partnership dissolves, The CEO could also drop her TBS Title to Storm.
