5’7″ WWE SmackDown star will definitely become the inaugural Women’s U.S. Champion, says Jonathan Coachman
Former WWE Superstar Jonathan Coachman recently predicted the winner of the newly introduced Women’s United States Championship. He claimed it would be one of the company’s fastest-rising stars.
After making a significant impact in NXT and holding the NXT Women’s Championship, Tiffany Stratton officially moved to SmackDown last February. She has since won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, earning herself a guaranteed title shot anywhere, anytime. On the Behind the Turnbuckle: The War Room podcast, former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci suggested the 25-year-old rising star as a legit candidate to win the Women’s United States Championship despite pointing out that Bayley also needs to capture the title.
Carlucci’s co-host, Coachman, agreed that Stratton would be a good choice to put the title on. He claimed Ms. Money in the Bank would definitely become the inaugural champion:
“You just took my answer. It’s definitely gonna be Tiffany Stratton,” The Coach said. [2:23 – 2:26]
WWE analyst wants Candice LeRae to win the Women’s United States Championship
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts also predicted who would be the first to win the newly introduced Women’s United States Championship.
While the 41-year-old acknowledged that there are several legitimate contenders, he expressed his desire to see Candice LeRae become the inaugural champion:
“I think for me, somebody that I’d like to see maybe be the first Women’s United States Champion is Candice LeRae. I think we’ve seen more and more out of Candice, and I think that I’d like to see that rocket get put on the back of Candice LeRae,” he said.
LeRae will reportedly square off against B-Fab and Bayley in a Triple Threat match in the first round of the Women’s United States Championship tournament tonight on SmackDown.
