6-time WWE champion reveals Liv Morgan supported her when she had real-life health issues

Liv Morgan has recently been credited by another WWE Superstar for constantly supporting her during her health struggles earlier this year.

Her tag team partner, Raquel Rodriguez, revealed that the Women’s World Champion helped her a lot during her WWE absence. She was suffering from Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, which led to a lengthy spell on the sidelines.

Rodriguez opened up on her situation in an interview with WrestleRant Radio, admitting that she feared not being able to wrestle ever again. She added that Liv Morgan helped keep her spirits up and was there for her every day:

“So I did have those thoughts (about not being able to return) running through my mind quite a bit, but I’m really, really grateful to my sister, Liv (Morgan), who never stopped being there for me throughout any of the days. She messaged me, she checked up on me, even when she was dealing with her arm injury and having all the stress of her coming back and her wrestling Rhea and winning the Women’s Title, it was a lot on her plate,” said Raquel Rodriguez. “To know that she had all of that going on and still had the time to think about me, to reach out to me, to send me things, it made me feel like I found someone absolutely loyal to me and who’s willing to be there for me,” she added.

Raquel Rodriguez returned to WWE as Liv Morgan’s bodyguard

Raquel Rodriguez returned at Bad Blood in October and attacked Rhea Ripley, ensuring Liv Morgan kept the Women’s World Championship. The former NXT Women’s Champion is now a part of The Judgment Day, alongside her close friend, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Carlito.

That was her plan all along, as Rodriguez made it clear during the same interview that she would repay Morgan’s loyalty upon her WWE return. That’s exactly what happened:

“That turned the page in my head. I thought, when I do get healthy again, because I know I’m gonna get healthy again, when I do step back into that ring, that is one person I’m going to support 110%. Coming back, there was no question about what side I was going to be on. It was always going to be Liv Morgan’s side,” Rodriguez said.

Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will go into battle at Survivor Series, alongside Nia Jax, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae. They are Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, Bayley, Naomi, and IYO SKY in a WarGames Match.
