Bayley secured a WWE Women’s Championship opportunity after winning a Fatal Four-Way match on SmackDown. The Role Model emerged victorious against Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, and Naomi to earn a title shot against Tiffany Stratton next week.
Following her win on the January 10 edition of SmackDown, Bayley expressed her enthusiasm about the upcoming championship match in a backstage interview shared by WWE on social media.
The former Damage CTRL leader reflected on her victory:
Oh baby! What time is it? It’s Bayley time dude! That’s real original, I know. But it’s been a long time since I’ve been a No. 1 contender. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this damn excited about winning a championship back. It might be bigger than WrestleMania. I don’t know. Tiffy Time is a big time, right?
Bayley also discussed her upcoming appearance at the SAP Center in San Jose during an interview at a San Jose Sharks hockey game:
Yes, January 13th, this coming Monday. SAP Center, tickets [are] on sale at Ticketmaster. I’ll be making an appearance on Monday Night RAW. I don’t know if I’ll be on the show. But we got a few matches at the end of the show that I’ll definitely be a part of. If you don’t have your tickets, come on out. And I am so excited to be right here. It’s been a while since I have been able to wrestle in front of my hometown crowd
The upcoming RAW will feature Dakota Kai facing Lyra Valkyria in the tournament final to crown the inaugural WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion.
