8-time WWE Champion would return only for a “giant” singles match at WrestleMania 41, says backstage analyst Sam Roberts
As the year 2024 draws to an end, the WWE Universe has been wondering whether Triple H has any more surprises in store ahead of Survivor Series: WarGames. RAW Talk‘s host, Sam Roberts, recently discussed the possibility of eight-time WWE Champion The Rock competing at the upcoming premium live event on November 30.
The Final Boss last made his presence felt at the end of Bad Blood, staring down Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso as they celebrated their victory over the Solo Sikoa-led Bloodline. A lot has happened since then. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn have combined forces with the OG Bloodline for a war against Sikoa and Co.
As announced on RAW, the two teams will face each other in a five-on-five WarGames match, leaving them short of one member each. Since the announcement, fans have been mulling over the idea of The Rock being the fifth member of either the OG Bloodline or Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline.
Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts seemed doubtful of seeing The Rock competing in a WarGames match. He thought The Final Boss’ next bout would likely take place in the main event of WrestleMania 41 next year.
“I see The Rock coming back. If he’s going to come back, he’s going to wrestle in either a giant singles match that feels WrestleMania-like, or in a match at WrestleMania in the main event. That’s why The Rock is coming back. He’s coming back to main event WrestleMania, or something that feels as big, and being one of ten people in a WarGames match, I don’t see it. Possible. I don’t see it. That whole scenario, both Cody [Rhodes] and Rock do not work for me right now in that match,” Roberts said. (From 24:51 to 25:25)

Will WWE Superstar Seth Rollins insert himself into the Bloodline civil war?
This past week on Monday Night RAW, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso were seen talking to several WWE stars backstage in search of the fifth member of the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames.
Rey Mysterio, Kofi Kingston, and Seth Rollins all refused to join forces with Roman Reigns. However, Bron Breakker seemed interested in having a conversation with Jimmy Uso. Whether the reigning WWE Intercontinental Champion would agree to be on the same page as the OG Bloodline remains to be seen.
Solo Sikoa with Jacob Fatu also approached Seth Rollins as The Visionary was on his way out. The former Universal Champion turned down his offer as well and insulted The Street Champion of the Island, calling him a “wannabe” Roman Reigns.
