Inspiration Behind Wyatt Sicks Creation Revealed
The Wyatt Sicks, stable formed by Bo Dallas, Nikki Cross, Dexter Lumis, Joe Gacy, and Erick Rowan, debuted on Monday Night RAW on June 17 and has since maintained a strong presence on WWE TV.
In an interview with Collider, Dallas revealed that Stephen King’s “The Stand” was a major influence in creating the group. Dallas shared that he and his brother Bray Wyatt grew up enjoying horror movies.
“Windham and I were obsessed with horror movies. One of our biggest influences was the ’90s version of ‘The Stand.’ It’s funny because when we were brainstorming character ideas, we both independently decided to draw inspiration from Randall Flagg without realizing the other was doing the same,” Dallas said.
Currently, The Wyatt Sicks are in a rivalry with The Miz on WWE TV.
