Randy Orton’s attack at Crown Jewel puts Nick Aldis in a predicament; WWE star fires shots
SmackDown GM Nick Aldis is facing criticism from a fellow WWE personality for not handling business. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens were involved in a brawl at the Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, at Crown Jewel. Anybody who came in the way faced the wrath of the battling superstars, including a general manager of the company.
RAW General Manager Adam Pearce fell victim to an RKO by The Viper in the ring in Aldis’ presence, which led to him asking the 14-time world champion for a fine. Pearce has now taken a dig at the blue brand’s sheriff.
Taking to Instagram, Adam Pearce addressed the situation that they were in at Crown Jewel. He pointed to Nick Aldis, who did not make any attempt to stop either SmackDown Superstar from losing control and would appear now to be facing a predicament.
“Someone had to try. Not like Aldis did,” Pearce wrote.

Things took an unprecedented turn this past Friday on the blue brand, as Randy Orton wound up getting stretchered out of the arena. The Viper and The Prizefighter could not contain themselves and began brawling yet again, leading to the former Universal Champion hitting a Piledriver on The Legend Killer.
It remains to be seen where things go from here between these now-bitter rivals.
Nick Aldis should transition from authority figure to wrestler, says Thom Latimer
NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Thom Latimer was a guest in Muscle Man Malcolm recently, where he discussed SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.
Latimer articulated how he was envious of Aldis as the latter was an all-rounder. He went on to say that the 38-year-old “deserves” to wrestle. When it came to discussing WWE possibly utilizing the veteran’s in-ring capabilities, the world champion remembered one of wrestling’s oldest philosophies, “Never say never.”
“Never say never, right? It’s wrestling. I would absolutely love to see that, and I feel like Nick [Aldis] deserves it. I mean Nick, and I’ve said this before too, he’s a guy you could put in any position, he can do everything, he’s good at everything. He’s just an all-around talent. There’s a lot of qualities of Nick that I wish that I had, and so I also, like I said, I feel like he deserves it,” he said.
Meanwhile, on the most recent edition of the blue brand, Nick Aldis introduced a brand new mid-card belt for the women’s division, the WWE Women’s United States Championship.
