Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes not moving to WWE RAW despite Netflix deal, report says

A new report from PW Insider has addressed speculation surrounding Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes’ potential move to RAW ahead of the brand’s Netflix debut in January 2025.

According to the report, both stars will remain on SmackDown despite WWE’s efforts to make RAW’s Netflix premiere as significant as possible.

This update comes after Reigns and Rhodes recently teamed up at WWE Bad Blood, defeating The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. The Original Tribal Chief has since reunited with The Usos and Sami Zayn, preparing for their WarGames Match against Sikoa’s team on November 30.

Meanwhile, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes continues his intense rivalry with Kevin Owens on SmackDown, seeking retribution after Owens sidelined Randy Orton with a Piledriver.

Roman Reigns sparks Netflix speculation with social media activity

Despite reports of staying on SmackDown, Roman Reigns has fueled discussion about his brand future by resharing WWE’s Netflix announcement on his Instagram stories. The move comes as WWE prepares for RAW’s historic transition to Netflix on January 6, 2025.

The OTC’s status has been a subject of interest since Paul Heyman removed him from this year’s Draft pool.

WWE has already advertised both Reigns and Rhodes for RAW’s Netflix premiere, while reports suggest the streaming platform’s interest in featuring top stars like Reigns, Rhodes, and CM Punk on Monday nights.
