Rhea Ripley returns to WWE with major announcement

Former WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley made her return to Monday Night RAW on November 18, sporting a protective mask following her recent injury. The surprise appearance came during a confrontation between multiple women’s division stars.

The show opened with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez addressing the WWE Universe. Morgan acknowledged anticipating a confrontation with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, revealing they had backup plans in place.

Nia Jax emerged alongside Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae. Jax directed pointed remarks at Rodriguez and Morgan, expressing her fixation with the duo. The situation intensified as Cargill, Belair, Naomi, and IYO SKY joined the fray. As soon as Morgan pointed out Bianca’s team’s numerical disadvantage, Ripley’s music hit. Rhea, who had been sidelined since October 29 following an attack by Morgan and Rodriguez that resulted in a fractured right orbital socket, stormed to the ring and targeted Morgan, declaring “WarGames” before sparking a massive brawl.

Ripley eyes future WrestleMania clash with Bianca Belair

Rhea Ripley ecently discussed a potential dream bout with Bianca Belair. Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter, Ripley expressed her desire for a singles match against the SmackDown star, suggesting WrestleMania as the ideal stage.

“I can’t wait for that day. I feel like it can’t be wasted. I feel like that is such a high-key match that people wanna see and I wanna do and she wants to do. The two faces of WWE 2K24. I think that if we were to step in the ring together again, I think it would have to be WrestleMania-worthy,” Ripley stated.

The two stars haven’t faced each other in singles action since their NXT days.
