Expanding on Punk’s recent media appearances, the former WWE Champion shared candid thoughts about his time in AEW during the same interview with Peter Rosenberg at ComplexCon. When questioned about potential regrets regarding untold stories or missed bouts, Punk offered a revealing response.

“[Laughs] Do I? It’s such a loaded question,” Punk said. “I feel like I wasted some matches on some people, for sure, but that is what it is. Some people understand the business, and some people don’t. I think everybody here understands the business.”

Punk’s tenure with AEW concluded following backstage incidents at All In 2023, leading to his WWE return at Survivor Series 2023. He last appeared on the October 7 edition of Monday Night RAW, with no announced date for his comeback.
