Stephanie McMahon congratulates her mother Linda McMahon on Education Secretary nomination, marking her potential second cabinet position under Trump.
Stephanie McMahon shared a message of support following Linda McMahon’s nomination for United States Secretary of Education. President-elect Donald Trump announced the nomination on November 19, 2024.
“Congratulations @Linda_McMahon on being nominated for United States Secretary of Education. Your grandchildren will know you as a two-time cabinet member! What a legacy for us all! I am so proud of you Mom,” Stephanie wrote on social media.
Linda previously served as administrator of the Small Business Administration during Trump’s previous administration. The current nomination awaits confirmation for her potential role in the upcoming cabinet.

Stephanie’s public statement marks a rare appearance since stepping away from WWE in January 2023. She resigned from her position as chairwoman following Vince McMahon’s return to the company.
While maintaining distance from WWE operations, Stephanie attended key shows in 2024. She appeared at SummerSlam and introduced WrestleMania XL Night Two, where she officially announced the Paul Levesque Era of WWE.
Her future involvement with WWE remains undefined as she continues to maintain a limited public presence.
