WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has shared her openness to returning to NXT, following in the footsteps of main roster stars like Becky Lynch, Baron Corbin, and Cedric Alexander who have made appearances on the developmental brand.
Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show Podcast, Morgan expressed enthusiasm about the possibility of working with NXT’s rising stars. “I’m excited for it all, really. If they ever wanted to call me, I’d make myself available,” Morgan said, specifically mentioning interest in matches with Giulia and Roxanne Perez.
The champion praised NXT’s women’s division, highlighting its role in securing the future of women’s wrestling. “I think top to bottom their division is so incredible. How lucky are we that we are secure for the next generation of women’s wrestling,” she added, mentioning talents like Thea Hail, Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, and others.
Morgan discusses Rodriguez and Mysterio’s unique dynamic
In a recent interview with Ringside Collectibles, Morgan opened up about the relationship between Raquel Rodriguez and Dominik Mysterio following Rodriguez’s return at Bad Blood 2024, where she helped Morgan retain her championship against Rhea Ripley.
“Raquel is my sister, my best friend, my protector, my tag team partner. Dominik is the love of my life,” Morgan explained. She emphasized the wholesome nature of Rodriguez and Mysterio’s relationship, describing it as a sibling-like bond. “They’re so cute together in a very wholesome brother-sister way. Not in any weird love triangle way. Dominik is mine. Raquel is mine. Different versions of mine, but both mine nonetheless.”
