Mark Henry sees unique role for CM Punk in latest return
WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry offered a fresh perspective on Punk’s alliance with The OG Bloodline. Speaking on Busted Open, Henry highlighted an unprecedented aspect of Punk’s character direction.
“It was different last night. When has Punk ever been the savior? Punk has always been the assassin. He’s always been the problem,” Henry said. “Never, never, ever was Punk the solution and the savior. It was so different and it felt different. Tell me I’m lying.”
The former World Heavyweight Champion demonstrated this new dynamic by helping clear the ring of the new Bloodline alongside Reigns and his teammates on SmackDown.
