Saudi Arabia offered astronomical amount to host Royal Rumble 2026

The WWE has signed a multi-million dollar deal to hold the Royal Rumble 2026 in Saudi Arabia. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the Saudis offered more than $55 million to host the event, although the final amount of the deal has not been disclosed.

The announcement was made last week, confirming that the Royal Rumble will be held for the first time outside of North America. This will be WWE’s largest event in Saudi territory since the partnership began.

Focus on new business strategy

WWE has maintained a business strategy focused on expanding its global presence. The deal with Saudi Arabia for the Royal Rumble 2026 demonstrates the company’s interest in taking its major shows to new markets, especially those with strong financial potential.

Royal Rumble is traditionally one of the most anticipated shows on the WWE calendar, having been held since 1988. The 2026 edition will not only be the first time it’s held outside of North America, but it will also set a new standard in the partnership between WWE and Saudi Arabia.
