Seth Rollins Says There’s “Love for Roman Reigns” but Only Hate for CM Punk
During the WWE Raw Recap podcast debut, Seth Rollins revealed contrasting emotions toward Roman Reigns and CM Punk ahead of his Steel Cage match against Punk at Madison Square Garden.

Seth Rollins detailed his different feelings toward Roman Reigns and CM Punk on the first episode of the WWE Raw Recap podcast. This comes after a chaotic few weeks of interactions with both competitors.
At Royal Rumble 2025, CM Punk eliminated both Rollins and Roman Reigns from the Men’s Royal Rumble match before being thrown out by Logan Paul, leading to a three-way brawl between the eliminated participants.
The conflict between Rollins and Punk continued at Elimination Chamber 2025 when Punk eliminated the former World Heavyweight Champion from the Men’s Elimination Match. Rollins retaliated with a curb stomp that led to John Cena eliminating Punk and winning the match.
Tensions escalated on the March 3 edition of Raw when Rollins and Punk engaged in a physical altercation that spread throughout the arena.
During his podcast appearance, Rollins explained the fundamental difference in his relationships with Reigns and Punk.
There’s love for Roman Reigns. Do I agree with what he stands for? Absolutely not, absolutely not. But there’s a seed of love in there somewhere. And that makes it more painful when I get in there and do what I have to do to him.
With CM Punk, there is no seed of love. That is gone. He erased that a long time ago. So it’s pure unadulterated hatred. That’s all I have for him.
Rollins will face CM Punk in a Steel Cage Match on the March 10 episode of Raw at Madison Square Garden. Meanwhile, Roman Reigns is currently out of action after receiving two Curb Stomps from Rollins at the Royal Rumble.
