WWE Planning Major Changes for Penta
WWE plans to reunite The Lucha Bros tag team once Rey Fenix joins his brother Penta in the company, according to a recent report from WrestleVotes.

Rey Fenix will join WWE soon, potentially leading to a reunion of The Lucha Bros with his brother Penta, according to a report from WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass.
Penta debuted on WWE Raw on January 13, 2025, and has been working as a singles competitor since his arrival.
JoeyVotes and TC provided an update on Fenix’s status during their recent broadcast, noting that his AEW contract situation has been resolved.
“Rey Fenix’s WWE debut is impending, and if he hasn’t signed a contract already, the deal was likely in place and had been verbally agreed upon,” the report stated.
According to the source, Fenix’s contract negotiations with AEW had been prolonged due to reported backstage issues.
Penta is currently involved in a singles program with Ludwig Kaiser on WWE RAW.
Despite Penta’s ongoing singles rivalry, WWE’s creative team led by Triple H reportedly intends to reunite The Lucha Bros as a tag team once Fenix makes his debut.
The brothers previously achieved significant success as a tag team before Penta’s arrival in WWE earlier this year.
