WWE has announced an Intercontinental Championship showdown between champion Bron Breakker and the undefeated luchador Penta for next week's Raw.
The stage is set for a high-stakes championship clash as Bron Breakker puts his Intercontinental Title on the line against the red-hot Penta on Raw.
The match was made official by RAW General Manager Adam Pearce following Penta’s brutal No DQ victory over Ludwig Kaiser.
Penta has been on a tear since his WWE debut in January, remaining undefeated and quickly establishing himself as a legitimate championship contender.
Breakker enters the bout in the midst of his second IC title run, having captured the gold back in October and most recently defending against Finn Bálor.
The two competitors came face-to-face during last Monday’s show-closing segment after Penta saved Breakker from a Judgment Day ambush.
This showdown carries major WrestleMania implications with the Showcase of the Immortals rapidly approaching.
With both men riding waves of momentum, this championship bout could dramatically shift the landscape of WWE’s midcard heading into the biggest event of the year.
