AEW officially announces WWE Hall of Famer’s in-ring return on Collision

A WWE Hall of Famer made a bombshell announcement recently regarding his future in AEW. Following that, the company announced his return to Collision for in-ring action.

During AEW Dynamite: Fight for the Fallen, veteran star Jeff Jarrett made a shocking announcement. Jarrett revealed that he had signed his final contract with AEW and was ready to begin the last leg of his four-decade illustrious career.

After making it clear that he was heading toward retirement, Jarrett has been scheduled to return for a match at the upcoming edition of AEW Collision. The company took to its official X account to announce that Jeff Jarrett will be in action at the show, which is set to take place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

“AEW Collision LIVE TOMORROW! | Charlotte, NC LIVE 8pm ET/7pm CT on @TNTDrama & @StreamOnMax ‘The Last Outlaw’ @RealJeffJarrett has signed his final active wrestling contract with AEW, and before the Casino Gauntlet Match next Wednesday, will be in action SATURDAY on TNT & Max!”

This will be Jeff Jarrett’s first match on the show since AEW Collision: Grand Slam in September 2024. He then wrestled ‘Hangman’ Adam Page in a Lumberjack Strap match, putting up a stellar performance despite losing the bout.

Jeff Jarrett has big plans for his last run in AEW

Jeff Jarrett came off a spectacular win at the AEW Worlds End pre-show against QT Marshall. On the first Dynamite of 2025, Jarrett announced the surprise news of signing his last wrestling contract with the company. However, Double J made one thing clear to set the tone for his last run.

The Last Outlaw claimed that he wanted to win the top prize before he hung up his boots for good. Jeff Jarrett was clearly referring to the AEW World Championship, currently held by Jon Moxley.

With Jeff Jarrett beginning his final run with a match at AEW Collision, it will be interesting to see the former WWE Intercontinental Champion’s matches as the clock starts to tick on his illustrious career.
