Former AEW Women’s World Champion, Toni Storm made a request to the fans after announcing her retirement from wrestling. Storm recently stated that the promotion doesn’t need her and that it was doing fine without her.
Toni Storm has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2022 but achieved great heights with her ‘Timeless’ character. After carrying the AEW Women’s World Championship for months, Storm lost her title at All In 2024 in August to her former friend and protege, Mariah May, who betrayed her.
Recently, The Timeless One shockingly announced her retirement from wrestling, saying she had failed at everything as she lost in AEW, as well as Japan and Mexico recently. Storm also told fans to enjoy Mariah May as their champion claiming All Elite Wrestling did not need her anymore.
Following her sudden retirement announcement, Storm revealed her new action figure was now on sale. Storm urged the fans to buy the doll by sharing the picture on her recent Instagram story:
“Buy the doll,” Toni wrote.
The Timeless One revealing her new action figure on social media could also be a hint of her potential return to the ring soon.
Top AEW star pitched a rematch against Toni Storm
Current Women’s World Champion, Mariah May, pitched a gimmick match against Toni Storm before her former mentor announced her retirement. Storm said she wants some kind of a Glamour match:
“If Toni Storm ever resurrected, I don’t where she even is, and tried to touch me again, I would love to have a match, which means I could hurt her as much as possible. I would love to create some kind of Glamour match. I don’t know what that looks like.” [H/T Fightful]
It seems the story between Storm and Mariah May is far from over as the two have been mentioning each other regularly. Fans will have to wait and see where the story is going.
