AEW takes new action against Rey Fenix

Following his brother Penta’s WWE debut, Rey Fenix’s products vanish from AEW’s online store as questions surrounding his status with the company persist.

AEW takes new action against Rey Fenix

AEW has withdrawn Rey Fenix’s merchandise from their official shop. The timing coincides with his brother Penta’s recent WWE debut on January 13th.

Fenix last appeared in a wrestling ring during a CMLL event on July 26th. His absence from AEW programming sparked discussion when he posted concerning messages on social media regarding his treatment. In since-deleted tweets, Fenix expressed frustration about medical attention:

I needed a doctor, but I was ignored for months… No one would stay in a place where they received inhumane treatment.

The situation grows more complex with reports that AEW extended Fenix’s contract into 2025 due to injury time. This development emerged after the company learned of potential discussions between the Lucha Brothers and WWE. While Penta’s contract concluded on December 1st, leading to his WWE arrival, Fenix’s status remains unclear.
