The New Day had its 10th anniversary segment on last night’s WWE RAW. Meanwhile, AEW star Renee Paquette took to social media to send an emotional message to the group. Renee signed with AEW in 2022.
The New Day is considered one of the greatest factions in the history of WWE. The group has had 12 tag team championship reigns under its belt. During their time together, Kofi Kingston and Big E became WWE Champions, while Xavier Woods took a different path and won the 2021 King of the Ring tournament to prove his talent as a singles competitor.
Meanwhile, Big E posted a self-written heartfelt article on Instagram and other social media platforms ahead of last night’s RAW. In the article, the 38-year-old opened up about the decade-long run of the faction and his journey in general.
Many stars, including AEW’s Renee Paquette, commented on the post, recalling some of her memories with the faction.
“No one better. What you guys turned this into from its inception has been so amazing to watch. Whether backstage or in the ring, you guys were always some of my faves to see on show days. Even if everyone hated our greeting 😂. Lightning was captured!” she wrote.

Ahead of The New Day’s 10th anniversary celebration last night, many believed that this would be the night Xavier Woods would turn on Kofi Kingston. However, a shocking twist was witnessed. During the segment, Big E made his return and tried to keep Kingston and Woods on the same page.
However, the former tag team champions surprisingly blamed Big E for all their shortcomings and cemented their heel turn by kicking the former WWE Champion out of the faction.
Many were shocked to see Kofi Kingston turn heel. That said, The New Day did have a heel run during its initial days. We will have to wait and see how Triple H books this version of the stable.
