Alexa Bliss set for WWE return in 2025 with dark twist ahead

Wrestling veteran Francine predicts Alexa Bliss will make her WWE return in early 2025, potentially with a significant character evolution following her extended absence.

Alexa Bliss has been away from in-ring competition since January 2023, when she faced Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at Royal Rumble. Following that match, Bliss took maternity leave and welcomed her first child in November 2023.

During a recent episode of her Eyes Up Here podcast, Francine shared her insights about Bliss’s potential return trajectory:

I predict that she’s gonna come back in 2025; early part of the year. I feel like she’s gonna get so over. She’s gonna be so over with the crowd, but she’s gonna turn, and she’s gonna be a heel.

The ECW veteran also discussed the possibility of Bliss becoming involved with The Wyatt Sicks storyline:

Anytime somebody’s gone for an extensive amount of time, you’re gonna get a babyface reaction. But I don’t think they’re gonna keep her as a babyface. I think she’s gonna come back as a heel. That’s the way I wanna see her come back. So, maybe she’ll have something to do whether she’s a part of their troop or whether she’s like a rival to them.

The Final Testament shows interest in Alexa Bliss

While speculation continues about Bliss’s potential alignment with The Wyatt Sicks, another faction has expressed interest in working with the former champion. Karrion Kross, leader of The Final Testament, recently addressed the possibility of Bliss joining his group. When asked about the potential alliance, Kross offered a direct response:

I would happily welcome her. Nothing but respect.

The Final Testament currently includes the Authors of Pain and Scarlett among its ranks. While Bliss joining the faction remains unlikely, given her history and the group’s current composition, her eventual return continues to generate discussion among fans anticipating the revival of her “Goddess” persona.
