The report notes that contract negotiations between Bliss and WWE had been at an impasse, and she had not been scheduled to participate in the match during Friday’s rehearsal. Bliss ultimately took the spot originally planned for Shotzi.
Bliss’s time away from WWE included welcoming a baby and dealing with various health issues. Following her elimination by Liv Morgan during the match, their exchange of looks hinted at potential future developments between the two competitors.
