Apollo Crews handed a new name on WWE SmackDown

Apollo Crewshas become part of the storyline between DIY and The Street Profits in recent weeks after he noted that DIY were the ones who attacked Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins last week on WWE SmackDown.

Pretty Deadly had already claimed that it was Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, which led to a match between The Street Profits and Los Garza and put Pretty Deadly in some hot water.

This week on SmackDown, Pretty Deadly approached Apollo Crews and used the name “Apollo Stooge,” which was later used by DIY as part of their promo with Nick Aldis.

It seems that the former champion has now been handed this moniker for the point of this storyline and will seemingly continue to be dragged into it since he is aware that it was DIY who attacked The Street Profits and not Legado Del Fantasma.

Interestingly, Legado Del Fantasma has also worked out that they were attacked for nothing and have come after Pretty Deadly, which has generated some excitement in the tag team division.

The Street Profits were initially set to get their championship shot against DIY later tonight, but an injury forced Motor City Machine Guns to step in.
