The Wyatt Sicks made a massive debut on WWE RAW in June 2024. Despite literally wiping out the entire backstage area upon their arrival, the fans were cheering them on. Perhaps this is why the company ran with it and kept them babyfaces. Wrestling veteran Konnan discussed their rumored recent backstage heat as they have not been seen on television in recent weeks.
Immediately after the faction first appeared on-screen, they broke character by sharing a photo in regular clothes posing with a fan. The Wyatt Sicks have a pinch of supernatural elements to their act, which makes it difficult for them to work in the wrestling industry. However, some legends have made it work, notably, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker.
Speaking on K100, Konnan dismissed the notion that breaking character gave wrestlers heat these days. Although veterans would disagree, today’s generation gets it, he said. The former manager also defended WWE’s decision to turn them babyfaces. However, he then opined about the faction as a whole, claiming that they have one too many members, and something was not “clicking” with them:
“Here’s my two cents on this,” Konnan said. “If you spend half as much time on a good storyline that you did in their entrances, and as you do another storyline, this might be good. But it doesn’t make sense. I almost feel like you have two guys in the group too many. That’s kind of where I’m at with this […] Yeah, something ain’t clicking.” [From 4:55 to 5:18]
Since arriving on RAW, Uncle Howdy and his crew have worked with the Chad Gable-led American Made. The Wyatt Sicks came out of the feud as the victor. However, The Final Testament then handed them their first loss on the red brand, and they have not been seen since.
Meanwhile, an old friend of Bo Dallas has revealed that he was open to re-signing with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Bo Dallas says he has a long-standing friendship with one Wyatt Sicks member in particular
The Wyatt Sicks features two members who were very close to the late Bray Wyatt. His real-life brother Bo Dallas, and Erick Rowan, an original Wyatt Family member.
Recently, on Dead Meat Presents, Dallas discussed his relationship with Rowan. The 34-year-old revealed that long before The Wyatt Sicks’s inception, they were friends because of common links like Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee (fka Luke Harper):
“Yes, we did get closer… a lot closer. Even before that, with Brodie [Luke Harper aka Brodie Lee], you know, that brought me, Windham [Bray Wyatt], and Rowan even closer together. It’s been a wild road. It’s crazy to think about where we are right now, you know,” Dallas said.
As of this writing, there is no word yet on how WWE plans to bring back Uncle Howdy and the crew. The Final Testament’s leader, Karrion Kross, recently opened up about a “dream project” with Bray Wyatt that Triple H had turned down.
