Becky Lynch confirms WWE return plans following 6-month absence

Becky Lynch addressed her WWE future during a panel at the Vulture Festival, ending months of speculation since her last bout. The former RAW Women’s Champion, whose contract concluded following her May appearance, assured fans of her eventual return to the rings.

The announcement comes after Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan’s repeated claims of retiring Lynch following their Steel Cage Match on May 27 Monday Night RAW. Lynch, showcasing a new look at the festival, directly addressed these statements. “If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen,” she declared.

While confirming her WWE return, Lynch mentioned being currently engaged in other projects, suggesting her comeback timeline remains flexible.

Major plans brewing for Lynch’s WWE return

Reports from WRKD Wrestling indicate significant developments regarding Lynch’s WWE status, stating “a deal has been nearly finalized for some time now.” The timing aligns with WWE’s historic transition of Monday Night RAW to Netflix.

Before her departure, Lynch achieved notable milestones, including an Elimination Chamber victory and capturing the Women’s World Championship.

With Morgan currently holding the title and Royal Rumble 2025 approaching, speculation grows about a potential championship bout between the two competitors.
