Becky Lynch eyes WWE comeback with new contractual priorities, says veteran

Becky Lynch’s WWE return could involve significant contract negotiations, according to former WWE head writer Vince Russo. Lynch has remained absent from television since her last appearance in May.

Speaking on The Coach & Bro Show, Russo suggested Lynch’s priorities have shifted since becoming a mother. “Not only does she want to come back for top dollar, but you can bet she got a taste of being a mom. Her first interview out of the shoot was on Austin’s show where she said wrestling is no longer the most important thing in life. So what that tells me is two things – number one more money, number two less dates.”

Lynch’s last bout took place on May 27 during Monday Night RAW, where she faced Liv Morgan for the Women’s World Championship. Since then, speculation has surrounded her status with WWE.

Lynch addresses WWE future at Vulture Festival

Lynch recently discussed her WWE future during a Vulture Festival panel, responding to retirement claims made by Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan.

“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen,” Lynch stated.

While confirming her eventual return to WWE, Lynch mentioned ongoing commitments to other projects. Her last match ended in controversy during a Steel Cage Match against Morgan on May 27 Monday Night RAW.
