Becky Lynch’s Acting Projects Delay WWE Return Plans
Fightful Select reports Becky Lynch’s absence from Royal Rumble and WWE’s Netflix premiere stems from her current focus on external acting ventures.
Becky Lynch was notably absent from the 2025 Royal Rumble premium live event, despite fan expectations of her potential return. According to Fightful Select, Lynch was not present at the event and was never factored into the creative plans for the show.

Becky has a major project in development, along with her role in the Star Trek series on Paramount.
Lynch departed WWE after her contract expired in June 2024, during which time she held the Women’s World Championship following Rhea Ripley’s injury. Her previous in-ring appearance saw her challenge Ripley unsuccessfully at WrestleMania in April 2024.
