Out of action since WrestleMania 41, Bianca Belair has offered a significant new update on the status of her recovery.

Bianca Belair Provides Update During WWE Absence

A recent social media post from Bianca Belair has provided the clearest indication yet that her return to the ring may be approaching. In an image shared while promoting the upcoming Crown Jewel event in Australia alongside her husband Montez Ford, Belair was seen without the cast she has been wearing on her hand, fueling speculation about her recovery.

The former champion has been out of the ring since WrestleMania 41, where she suffered broken fingers during the Women’s World Championship Triple Threat match. The injury occurred in the bout where IYO SKY captured the title from Rhea Ripley, and it has kept Belair off television for several months, forcing her to miss the upcoming all-women’s Evolution premium live event.

Belair’s absence required a significant shift in creative plans, halting a major storyline that was developing between her, Jade Cargill, and Naomi. Her last on-screen appearance was on the May 30 edition of SmackDown in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee. During the segment, she was confronted by Naomi, who attempted to apologize for her actions. Belair firmly rejected the apology before leaving the ring just as Jade Cargill arrived to confront Naomi, setting a clear direction for her eventual return.

While an official return date has not been announced, reports suggest Belair is expected back around SummerSlam in August. The primary expectation is that she will be inserted directly back into the storyline on SmackDown with Naomi and Jade Cargill. However, there is also some speculation that Belair could be moved to WWE RAW to bolster the roster and potentially set up a WrestleMania rematch against the current Women’s World Champion, IYO SKY.
