According to former WWE writer Vince Russo, Braun Strowman and a 43-year-old superstar can become the modern-day Brothers of Destruction. He explained how on the latest episode of The Wrestling Outlaws.
This week, host Dr. Chris Featherstone spoke to Vince Russo and EC3 about a variety of topics such as who should win the Men’s Royal Rumble 2025 match. Russo argued that there are very few company-backed superstars minus Bron Breakker and said that other popular names like Jey Uso, LA Knight, and Seth Rollins are handpicked by fans.
When arguing that WWE can simply create huge superstars with the names at their disposal, he stated that Braun Strowman and the 43-year-old former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan can easily become the modern day Brothers of Destruction:
“If you take a guy who doesn’t even get a mention. He doesn’t even get noticed…Do you remember the Brothers of Destruction? Kane and ‘Taker. Remember when they had each other’s back and you couldn’t touch them? You could do that with Strowman and Rowan. They’ve done nothing with [Rowan]. This guy could kill you. All the time they spend on Sami Zayn and they got a guy like that. If all of a sudden Strowman & Rowan decided to have each other’s backs….Bro, you can create this stuff. They’re not building anything. They’re going to bring Cena back so they’re going to ride that Cena train. They got The Rock in their pocket, so they’re going to play that. You’ve got people there if you just play your cards the right way.” (12:12-13:21)

Braun Strowman revealed a shocking truth about the condition of his leg
It’s incredible to think that Braun Strowman is able to fully compete considering the condition of his leg. In the caption of the Instagram post above, the Monster of All Monstersrevealed that his left leg is 15% paralyzed.
He has had to undergo numerous spells away from WWE due to an injury – one that kept him out for almost the entirety of 2023 while he also had a smaller injury spell in the summer of 2024. He had a memorable trilogy with “Big” Bronson Reed – one that he ultimately won thanks to the help of his old short-term tag team partner Seth Rollins.
Braun Strowman looks like he won’t be on RAW on Netflix and was recently announced as a SmackDown superstar. Whether he gets to go to RAW via the Transfer Window or not is yet to be seen, but it looks like he will have another big chance on the blue brand.
