JBL predicts Brock Lesnar will receive a substantial financial offer to rejoin WWE following his extended absence since SummerSlam 2023.
WWE Hall of Famer John Bradshaw Layfield believes Brock Lesnar will soon receive a significant financial offer to return to WWE programming.
During his appearance on the “Something to Wrestle” podcast, JBL discussed Lesnar’s potential WWE comeback, suggesting a seven-figure deal is likely forthcoming.
Like anyone, you still like the spotlight, and the temptation to come back, and it’s not just the spotlight. There’s going to be a number with two commas that are going to be offered to come back, and I think he’ll accept and I hope he accepts.
Lesnar has been off WWE TV since SummerSlam 2023, with his absence coinciding with being named in the lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and WWE. Reports suggest his contract remains suspended rather than terminated, as WWE seeks to prevent him from signing with competing promotions such as AEW.
WWE has actively removed Lesnar from company content, including editing him out of a video package featuring Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania matches. Despite these efforts, Cody Rhodes mentioned his past rivalry with Lesnar during the April 11 edition of SmackDown.
When approached by a Ringside News correspondent at a restaurant and asked about his possible return, Lesnar responded simply:
We’ll see.
