Brock Lesnar set to return soon, says former WWE writer
Vince Russo expressed confidence in Brock Lesnar‘s eventual WWE comeback during Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW podcast. Lesnar has been absent from WWE programming since his loss to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2023.
“People forget, it takes a little time. I mean, my gosh how many strikes has Hogan had against him with things that he said? People forget over time. So yes, I think we’ll see him back in WWE. I don’t think anything needs to clear up bro, I think it’s just time,” Russo stated.
Triple H has previously indicated that Lesnar’s return remains a possibility. Lesnar’s absence follows allegations in a lawsuit against Vince McMahon, though Lesnar was not directly named.

Brock Lesnar was recently spotted backstage at Ward Davis’ concert in Tsuut’ina, Canada. Davis shared the moment on Facebook, noting his encounter with the former WWE Champion.
Originally, Lesnar was reportedly planned to return at the 2024 Royal Rumble to initiate programs with Dominik Mysterio and Gunther. However, these plans were altered following the lawsuit allegations, with Bron Breakker and Sami Zayn stepping into those roles respectively.
Currently, WWE has not announced any plans for Lesnar’s return to programming.
