Bronson Reed fires major shots at Cody Rhodes amid WWE hiatus

Bronson Reed has been out of action since Survivor Series due to an injury. Despite this, he has taken some shots at Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes is undoubtedly the top guy in WWE at the moment. As WWE Champion, The American Nightmare is a marked man. While he is currently involved in a heated and personal feud with Kevin Owens, Cody has to constantly look over his shoulder, especially after Bronson Reed took some shots at him recently.

It all started when Ric Flair said he had one more match left in him. Bronson replied, claiming that fans wanted to watch him hit his tsunami on the WWE Hall of Famer. One fan asked the Australian star to hit his tsunami on The Rock instead for slapping Cody. To this, Bronson replied that Cody is the one who deserves a tsunami.

“Nah f**k slim shady … he deserves a TSUNAMI.”

Arn Anderson revealed that Dusty Rhodes was right about Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes’ star power has been on a meteoric rise since his return to WWE. He won back-to-back Royal Rumble matches and even captured the WWE Championship from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. Now, The American Nightmare is one of the top stars in the business. But Dusty Rhodes predicted this several years ago.

On Busted Open Radio, Arn Anderson said that Dusty revealed to him in a private conversation that Cody had what it took to be a top star in the business, and he was right about his prediction.

“He told me when they first pulled him up and they put him with [Ted DiBiase Jr.] and stuff, Dusty would tell me — when I would see him, I’d look at him and I’d go, ‘He’s had him on a loop drain this week, he’s doing good and everything.’ He would look at me with no fear and go, ‘He’s got it. The kid’s got it.’ It wasn’t to elicit a positive response from me, he was just saying point blank he knew Cody had what it took to work on top in this business,” Anderson recalled.

It will be interesting to see whether Cody Rhodes can remain the Undisputed WWE Champion for a long time.
