Bronson Reed teases major change upon WWE return

Bronson Reed will take an indefinite hiatus due to a recent foot surgery. It remains uncertain when he will make his return. However, he has hinted at making a significant transformation to his persona upon his eventual comeback.

Big Bronson posted an interesting update on Instagram. He showed a picture of himself staring down the lens of his camera with a somewhat menacing look.

Although not particularly remarkable, his caption on the post, in which he referred to himself as “Babyface,” is worth noting. This could simply reference his expression in the photo, but it also carries some importance within the wrestling context.

As many fans know, Bronson Reed is one of the top heels in WWE right now. However, if this recent social media activity is taken quite literally, he could hint at a potential babyface turn upon his return.

It is a stretch, but it would be a refreshing change for the 36-year-old superstar. That said, this could also be a case of Reed having some fun on social media and trying to mess with the WWE Universe.

Bronson Reed injured himself diving off the steel cage at Survivor Series: WarGames

Bronson Reed is taking a much-needed break right now. Although he was riding the wave of success before his injury, its severity has forced him to be shelved. What’s most intriguing is how he got himself injured in the first place.

Many will remember that Reed teamed up with the New Bloodline against CM Punk and the OG Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames. And it was there, in one particularly dangerous spot, that he broke his foot. Scaling the colossal WarGames structure, Reed attempted a Tsunami from the top but landed awkwardly, injuring his foot.

It was tough to watch, but it was undoubtedly tougher to experience. But, perhaps what was most incredible was that Reed soldiered on and finished the match. It’s a testament to the premium caliber of WWE superstar that he is.
