A segment meant to build anticipation for WrestleMania 41 took an unexpected turn on the April 4 edition of SmackDown when Charlotte Flair and Tiffany Stratton largely abandoned their planned dialogue.
According to reports from WrestleVotes, both performers “said very little of what was in the rundown for them. Off script quite a bit.” The impromptu nature of their exchange became apparent as the conversation quickly shifted toward personal attacks rather than the standard match promotion.
Stratton escalated the confrontation by telling Flair, “Outside the ring you ain’t the queen of sh*t.” She continued her verbal assault by claiming Flair would always be “second to her daddy” before delivering a pointed reference to Flair’s personal life, stating, “What is that, zero and three?” – an apparent reference to Flair’s past marriages.
Flair countered by mocking Stratton’s voice and suggesting a reason “why Ludwig Kaiser is in your DMs,” referencing Stratton’s real-life boyfriend. The unplanned nature of these comments caught the attention of WWE management, as the official company accounts later deleted posted clips of the segment’s conclusion.
The heated exchange concluded with Stratton departing while the Chicago crowd showed their support with chants. The two are set to square off for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 41, with tensions now significantly heightened following their unscripted confrontation.
