One of the previously announced segments for tonight’s WWE SmackDown in Tampa, Florida, was Chelsea Green’s celebration ceremony with the new Women’s United States Championship, which she won at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
When the time came, Green was introduced by Piper Niven in a gala setting, with formal attire and a decorated ring, featuring a podium in the center.
However, during her speech, Michin, who was her opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event, came personally to confront Green about Niven’s interference that led to her defeat last Saturday, turning everything into a full-blown brawl.

Although nothing has been officially announced, it is expected that Michin will get a rematch against Green with the title on the line.
Chelsea Green achieved major milestone becoming champion
With her victory over Michin last Saturday, capturing the WWE Women’s United States Championship, Chelsea Green joined an elite group of wrestlers who have become champions at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Alongside Green, only the Brain Busters (Tully Blanchard and Arn Anderson), with the World Tag Team Championship, and Shawn Michaels, with the Intercontinental Championship, have won titles at this event.
This is Green’s first title in WWE since 2021, when she officially signed with the company.
