CM Punk May Have Gone Off-Script To Attack WWE Legend On RAW, Suggests Veteran

CM Punk delivered a promo during an interview with Jackie Redmond on the January 20 episode of Monday Night RAW discussing his Royal Rumble aspirations. During the segment, Punk made a pointed comment about Hulk Hogan, occurring weeks after Hogan received negative crowd reactions during RAW’s Netflix debut.

You put Hulk Hogan in the Royal Rumble, I’ll throw his dusty a** over the top rope, and I’ll kill Hulkamania once and for all.

Former WWE head writer Vince Russo discussed the segment on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Legion of RAW.

I don’t think Paul Levesque [Triple H] or Nick Khan, or anybody else knew what CM Punk’s promo was going to be. I don’t think they had any knowledge of that whatsoever.
