CM Punk mocks WWE star in video at WWE headquarters

CM Punk criticized Pat McAfee through an Instagram story while exercising at WWE Headquarters. The former WWE Champion suggested watching Dominik Mysterio matches or Stephen A. Smith would be more entertaining than The Pat McAfee Show playing at the facility.

“Oh man, we’ve got Pat McAfee on at headquarters. And I think a better use of our time might be to either watch Dominik Mysterio matches or we could put Stephen A. Smith on the television. The gym might actually be crowded then, something entertaining to watch,” Punk said.

The comment comes as Punk prepares for his match against Seth Rollins on RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025. The two competitors engaged in a physical altercation during this week’s RAW at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

Dr. Chris Featherstone, speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling’s UnSKripted Show, suggested Punk could enhance his antagonistic persona by addressing past grievances with WWE. “You have CM Punk; he can become the absolute biggest heel on RAW if you start cutting those promos that he felt like he was snubbed. He felt like he was snubbed by the WWE. He can even bring Vince McMahon’s name in there… So you can have CM Punk start shooting and cutting those promos of why he felt like he was snubbed.”
