CM Punk to call out 37-year-old star on WWE RAW following his win alongside Roman Reigns? Potential post-Survivor Series feud explored

CM Punk is set to kick off Monday Night RAW. It will be interesting to see what the Best in the World will have to say just a couple of days after his triumph at Survivor Series. At the show, he teamed up with Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn to defeat The New Bloodline in a WarGames Match.

The expectation is that the RAW Superstar will move on from The Bloodline story and will go after his major target: the World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk has already made it clear that he is coming after Gunther for the title and maybe the time has come for a championship match between The Best in the World and the reigning champion.

Gunther is coming off a victory over Damian Priest in a rematch from SummerSlam, with The Ring General getting some help from Finn Balor, who cost The Punisher the title for a second time in a row.

CM Punk is expected to cut a promo on Guntherand challenge him to a title match, with a likely date being the RAW premiere on Netflix on January 6, so WWE has time to build up the match.

The Best in the World has previously hinted at going after the World Heavyweight Championship. It remains to be seen whether that will be the case in the near future.

Bron Breakker keeps the door open for a future match with CM Punk

Bron Breakker successfully defended his Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series, in a Triple Threat Match against Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus. As he is expecting to find out who he will face next, he opened up about CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

Speaking in a press conference after Survivor Series, Bron Breakker kept the door open for a future match against The Best in the World and The Original Tribal Chief.

“I definitely think there is a possibility of that happening, maybe down the line, I don’t know. But the door is definitely open, so I guess just say, never say never on that,” Bron Breakker said. [h/t Wrestling Inc]

Given the push that Bron Breakker has gotten from WWE since joining the main roster in late April, it is safe to say that he will compete for a major title sooner rather than later. Whether Punk or Reigns will hold the title at the time remains to be seen, though.
