Congratulations to Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley began his professional wrestling career in 2005. The All Mighty has an incredible resume, and championship gold has followed him in promotions like WWE, TNA Wrestling, and more. The now-AEW star is set to reach an incredible milestone this month.

During his first stint in WWE, Lashley held the ECW World Championship and the United States Championship. He left the company in 2008 and became one of the top names in professional wrestling after having a successful career in TNA/IMPACT Wrestling. In 2018, Bobby Lashley returned to WWE. The comeback proved to be successful for The All Mighty as he managed to become a two-time world champion.

The veteran departed from WWE last year and signed with AEW. He is a part of The Hurt Syndicate with MVP and Shelton Benjamin. The All Mighty has been tearing it up at 48 years old with the fans behind him with their overwhelming support.

This month marks Bobby Lashley’s 20th year in professional wrestling. Lashley has revealed that he plans on retiring in All Elite Wrestling, however, fans could expect to see him competing for the foreseeable future as he recently began his career in Tony Khan’s promotion.

Bobby Lashley will retire in AEW

The Hurt Syndicate has been one of the top acts in All Elite Wrestling for the past couple of months. The Almighty has also made his presence felt by brutalizing opponents during his matches.

In a recent interview with Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, Bobby Lashley noted how his WWE contract expired while he was injured. The former star revealed that he would like to end his career the right way in All Elite Wrestling:

“Having the ability to run The Hurt Business and to keep going and to really end my career the right way? I got injured in Spain before my contract was up in WWE and that was not the way I wanted to end my career.” [H/T WrestlingInc.]

We will have to wait and see when the former WWE Champion decides to hang up his boots in All Elite Wrestling.
