Current champ declares herself “Greatest Champion” after Saturday Night’s Main Event

Liv Morgan retained the Women’s World Championship against IYO SKY at Saturday Night’s Main Event, leading to an immediate confrontation with Rhea Ripley. The match concluded with Morgan securing a pinfall victory over SKY, who earned her title opportunity by winning a battle royal.

“THE GREATEST WOMEN’S WORLD CHAMPION OF ALL TIME,” Morgan posted on Instagram, along with photos and videos from the match. She followed up with a message about her opponent: “She killed it but not as much as meeeeeeeeee.”

The post-match face-off with Ripley suggests an upcoming title program between the two competitors. Ripley, who never lost the championship, pinned Morgan at Survivor Series: WarGames, potentially setting up a match for RAW’s Netflix debut next month.

Morgan and Ripley have clashed twice this year. Their SummerSlam encounter ended with Morgan victorious following interference from Dominik Mysterio, while their Bad Blood match concluded in disqualification after Raquel Rodriguez’s involvement.
